Your Least Favorite Song(s)

It may take me 30 weeks, not 30 days, to finish this song challenge..but I'll get there.

What is your least favorite song(s)?

I realize I may be starting some back alley brawls with these song choices. The thing is they get under my skin in ways that just aren't pleasant. I'd rather listen to someone filing their nails than to the five songs listed below, and if you know me at all that is a pretty strong statement.

1. Free Fallin' - Tom Petty

Disclaimer: I LOVE Tom Petty! He is one of my favorite artists of all time. Then why do I have this song on my list of least favorite? I HONESTLY DON'T KNOW! There is just something about it I cannot stand. Sorry, Tom.

2. Jessie's Girl - Rick Springfield

In high school I had a not-so-nice boyfriend named Jesse. That's it. Ruined this classic for me!

3. Believe - Cher

Somebody make the pain stop - now!

4. From a Distance, Bette Midler

I don't hate Lady Bette, just this song.

5. Do They Know It's Christmas - Band Aid

I know, I know it was for charity! This song was recorded with the best intentions but it's horrible. Seriously. Bad.

Honorable mentions would go to anything by John Mayer (except for that Daughters song, I don't mind that), Katy Perry or Miley Cyrus.

I can't even comment further on these songs without ruining the rest of my day. Seriously, who wants to spend time thinking/talking about their least favorite things? I'm looking forward to the next challenge on a song(s) that makes you happy.
